Papercrafting in No Time: A Book Review

Papercrafting in No Time: 50 Inspirational Projects Crafted From Paper by Clare Youngs is a paperback book full of (you guessed it) 50 paper projects.

Here’s the Amazon link, but since I’m not an affiliate, I’m always going recommend you check it out from the library first to see if it’s a keeper.

The publisher summary:

Fold, cut and glue 50 of the most amazing decorative paper creations you have ever seen. Clare Youngs presents 50 unique ways to make use of letters, labels, leaflets and more to decorate your home in an elgant yet affordable fashion. Even if you are new to papercrafts there are a host of projects for you…

My take:

This was a good book of paper craft ideas. The pictures are large and clear, and the step by step instructions were very good. The projects range from slightly above beginner to really, really expert. Templates are included in the back to copy/scan and resize to complete the projects. I used her template for the Paper Village to cut a card, but I neglected to take any photos. I may check it out again now that my assembly skills are improving.

SuzerSpace Score:

On a scale of 5 scissors, with 1 scissor meaning I returned the book before I finished it and 5 scissors meaning I turned around and purchased it for my shelves, I give this book 3 scissors. I renewed it three times at the library, but ultimately I only completed one project.
